About Us:

The Jackson Civic Art Association has served the Jackson area since its founding
in 1947. It is dedicated to promoting the appreciation and creation of fine art.
Its membership includes artists, both professional and amateur, as well as
interested non-artists. The association meets twice a month on the first and third
Tuesdays, September through June, for the purpose of growing and enriching our
appreciation of art, sharing fellowship and support with other artists, and enlarging
our knowledge of various mediums and techniques.
Unless otherwise announced, meetings begin at 7 p.m. at Ella Sharp Museum, with
fellowship and refreshments beginning at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are open to the
public. Association activities throughout the year include artist demonstrations,
lectures, member exhibitions, and workshops.
For more information contact a board member on the home page. For directions to
our meetings, please go to google.com and type in the address as 3225 Fourth
Street, Jackson, Michigan 49203.
Thank you and looking forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting.
JCAA President Ted Riley.
