A coordinator is still needed for the Carnegie
Branch. (Note: on January 19th, Kathy
Clemons agreed to assist Mare An Flanders in
setting up her exhibit.
Newsletter deadline is the second Friday
of each month. Please submit information to
Joe by that time.
Sign up sheet: Look for the the sheet at the
JCAA meetings to sign up to receive the
newsletter via email only. This will cut down on
costs and help us do our part to go green and
save the planet. Greta will send out an email
when the newsletter is updated on the website.
Wall of Art: transition dates are May 19th,
July and September (dates to be confirmed).
These dates coincide with JCAA Tuesday
evening meetings. Members can now drop off
their artwork for inclusion on The Wall of Art
and attend a meeting.

In the News
An article about Jean Blais' artwork will be in
The Jackson Citizen Patriot newspaper on
Thursday, March 19.
Craig Cossey was interviewed by The Jackson
Citizen Patriot and an article appeared in the
paper about him and his art show at the Jackson
Community College Potter Center.
Greta Picklesimer was showcased on January
15, in The Jackson Citizen Patroit tabloid “In
Town” and has an ad on JTV. This was
managed by a self-submission.

at 10 a.m.

JCAA News:
September 8, 2009--Members of the Jackson Civic Art Association gathered in the great room of the
Ella Sharp Museum Building for a potluck and fellowship. After the meal, members were treated to a
private showing of student art through the Art-a-Loan program in the museum.
